Incentive & Rewards

Incentive events are still proven to be the best way to recognise and reward your team and why not give them the ultimate reward with a dynamic trip to the mountains?

Not only providing first class accommodation and endless skiing, there are a whole host of additional activities that can be built into the programme to provide an unforgettable trip. The following are just a selection:

  • Heli-skiing
  • Parascending
  • Snow-mobiling
  • Bob sleigh runs
  • Dog sledding

Case studies:

Case Study 1: Davos

Introduction

A leading supplier of office furniture put together an incentive scheme for its key dealers. The ski trip would be a reward for a the highest sales achievers.

Key Elements of the Brief

  • Approximately 35 delegates
  • 4 day duration
  • Accommodation in a 4 star hotel
  • Maximum 2hr transfer
  • Skiing for mixed abilities
  • Non-ski activities

The Solution

As this was the first event of its kind, we felt Davos was a good introduction as it has so much to offer - good quality hotels, vast ski area for all abilities, a range of alternative activities and good nightlife.

Highlights & Challenges

  • Co-ordinating various flights into Zurich from various airports within the UK & Ireland
  • High snowfall making logistics for delayed flights and transfers more complex
  • Fabulous dinner up the mountain with toboganning afterwards which was entertaining

Feedback

'On behalf of the company I would like to thank you for organising the trip to Davos. The choice of resort was very different to where we have been before and was spectacular. We had amazing snow, fabulous food, the hotel was superb and the organisation was perfect. Melissa was efficient in every way and a great person to have along as part of the group. Our group is historically quite a handful and she coped marvellously.'

Case Study 2: Bardonecchia

Introduction

An international drinks company wanted to reward their top suppliers for achieving a high level of sales by combining a ski weekend with the 2006 Winter Olympics which they were sponsoring.

Key Elements of the Brief

  • 30 persons
  • Located in a host resort of the 2006 Winter Olympics
  • Sourcing tickets to a Winter Olympics event
  • Skiing for mixed abilities
  • Visiting venues where the drinks brand was sold

The Solution

Having carried out a vast search for accommodation, Bardonecchia proved to be the best solution as accommodation was ski in - ski out and the resort was host to many Olympic snowboarding events.

Highlights & Challenges

  • Sourcing accommodation late in the day during the Winter Olympics, both in a ski resort plus the host city of Turin
  • Obtaining group tickets for Olympic events
  • Attending the sponsors' party

Feedback

'Another huge thank you for two wonderful events this year – the guys had an absolute blast in Bardonecchia, and the feedback from the customers was equally excellent. Once again, you’ve surpassed all expectations, so thank you.'

Case Study 3: Zermatt

Introduction

A Norwegian communications company wished to reward the high achievers from their UK sales staff with an all expenses paid ski weekend, including partners. This is a result of a long sales campaign.

Key Elements of the Brief

  • Event to be held pre-Christmas
  • 30 persons plus partners
  • Lively resort
  • Skiing for all abilities
  • Connecting flights from various UK regional airports

The Solution

As this event was to be held pre-Christmas we needed to source availability in a high altitude resort, plus ensure that this resort had some good nightlife as generally resorts are quieter before the festive season. Therefore Zermatt was the best solution as it has year round Glacier skiing and always has a good atmosphere.

Highlights & Challenges

  • Many regional flights and changes to cope with
  • Finding 3 suitable off-site dinners for the group
  • Organising horse drawn sleighs and tobogganning

Feedback

'Thanks so much for organising a fantastic event. Everything from the pre-event organisation to making sure we found the best snow and the right bars ran so smoothly and we couldn’t have done this without your experience and help. Many thanks again and we hope to work with you next year.'

'We were very impressed with the Corporate Ski Company and hope to have the opportunity to work with you again sometime in the near future.

All in all it was a very successful trip so many thanks from us all fro your invaluable input.'
